====== Quota Usage ======

===== Disk quota change for personal folder (X:\) =====

Applies to the files in the [[en:files:shared#personal_files|personal folder]] of each user
  - From the initial menu of [[http://manual.lserveradmin.gr/el:quickstart:startlserveradmin|LServerAdmin]] application we select **Services / Basic Services / Users Profile / Configure**
  - We select **Personal Folder**
  - We set the quota usage in  MB 

===== Disk quota change for network folders public, shared =====

Applies to teacher accounts with write permissions on folders [[en:files:shared#sharing_files_with_students_public_users|public]], [[en:files:shared#sharing_files_between_teachers_or_school_documents_in_general_shared|shared]]

  - From the initial menu of [[http://manual.lserveradmin.gr/el:quickstart:startlserveradmin|LServerAdmin]] application we select **Services / Basic Services / Users Profile / Configure**
  - We select **Network Files**
  - We set the quota usage in  MB 
  - Ορίζουμε το όριο χρήσης σε MB 


===== Set unlimited quota =====

If necessary, we can set unlimited quota on an administrator or teacher account (configure user with no quota limit), but we should monitor disk usage not to get too excessive.


  - From the initial menu of [[http://manual.lserveradmin.gr/el:quickstart:startlserveradmin|LServerAdmin]] application we select **Services / Basic Services / Users Profile / Configure **
  - We select **No quota users**
  - We check with SPACE our **personal user account** and press OK. We just set unlimited quota space on our personal user. 
<note important>Attention! We should not exceed 1-2GB because this will grow up excessively backups and we even might fill up storage.</note>

===== Monitor =====

  * **Windows** : To monitor disk usage we can use **WinDirStat** application as an administrator to see all users disk usage on C:\Users or as a simple user to see our disk usage on X:\
  * **Linux** : **QDirStat** is an equivalent application on System Tools menu.
