====== Connect through VPN from Linux ====== ===== VPN connection ===== * We download the vpn connection file with **.ovpn** suffix from the download link given to us. * On the network manager icon we go to the Network/Wifi configuration * On the left configuration pane, we select Network and on the right of VPN we click on **+** button * We select import from file and browse to select the **.ovpn** file. * On **Identity** tab * We enter the **username and password** already given to us for the VPN or our own creadentials if we are enabled as a VPN user. * On **IPv4** tab * We set the DNS e.g. **8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1** * We select **Use this connection only for resources of its network** ===== Connect to Windows ===== We will use **remmina**, a graphical and easy to use rdp client. * We download the file with **.rdp** suffix from the download link given to us. * From **remmina** we select **Import** and browse to select the **.rdp** file. * We connect we our credentials on our domain * From the option buttons on the rdp window we enable **Toggle dynamic resolution update** ===== Connect to Linux ===== * We download the file with **.tigervnc** suffix from the download link given to us e.g. example.tigervnc. * To connect from Linux OS it is preferred to use **tigervnc client** since it allows auto adjustment to maximum monitor resolution. * In Ubuntu/Debian based distributions we install with apt-get update; apt-get install xtigervncviewer * We run **xtigervncviewer** and load setting file e.g. **example.tigervnc** {{section>en:connection:vpn:fkeys&noheader&nodate&nouser}}
